Application Timeline

Weeks 1–2 — Initial Consultation & Documentation
Confirm your investment intention, begin due diligence, and gather all required documentation.

Weeks 3–6 — Legal & Financial Setup
Our legal team assists with opening a Portuguese bank account and obtaining your tax identification number (NIF). Once complete, you’ll sign the Shareholder Agreement and transfer the investment funds.

6 – 7 Months — Application Review & Biometrics Appointment
AIMA (the Portuguese immigration authority) reviews your application and schedules the biometrics appointment. The legal team coordinates all logistics and submission support.

~8 Months — Residency Card Issuance
After biometrics are completed, your Portuguese residency card is issued.

Every 2 Years — Renewals
Residency is renewed with proof of continued investment and a minimum stay of 14 days per two-year period.

After 5 Years — Citizenship or Permanent Residency
You become eligible to apply for Portuguese citizenship or permanent residency, opening full access to EU rights and opportunities.
